Garden Maintenance Specialist
Position Overview:
As a Garden Maintenance Specialist, where you’ll play a key role in preserving and enhancing the beauty of Muskoka. Our teams work all across Muskoka serving both island and mainland properties. Experience is not necessary but willingness to learn is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, pruning, and planting as well as grass cutting, leaf blowing, weed whacking and mulching when necessary.
- Monitor and assess the health of plants, recommending appropriate care as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement seasonal landscape enhancements.
- Ensure the cleanliness and visual appeal of customer properties for an optimal customer experience.

Your responsibilities include seeding, potting, watering, and maintaining ideal conditions. Responsibilities:

Perform seeding, potting, and watering tasks to foster healthy plant growth.

Maintain ideal greenhouse conditions, including temperature and humidity control.

Monitor and assess plant health, recommending care as needed.

Create custom planters and hanging baskets for retail and customer orders.

Collaborate with the team to design and implement seasonal enhancements.

Ensure cleanliness and organization within the greenhouse for an optimal working environment.

Loading and unloading of perennial and annual flower deliveries.

Provide assistance and advice to customers on plant care and selection.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in very hot/humid conditions while performing strenuous duties.

Garden Centre Retail Sales Representative
Position Overview:
Join Windermere Garden Centre as a Garden Centre Retail Sales Representative, where you’ll be the face of our team, helping customers create their dream gardens. This role involves providing expert advice, showcasing our diverse range of products, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating deliveries, assisting customers with custom order pickups, and supporting with watering and managing stock.
Responsibilities:

Assist customers in selecting plants, gardening tools, and accessories based on their needs and preferences.

Manage and control deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of products.

Coordinate customer pickups for custom orders, providing excellent service and ensuring order accuracy.

Assist with watering and maintaining plants to insure optimal health and appearance.

Contribute to the management of stock, ensuring proper organization and availability of products.

Maintain a tidy and inviting retail space, including plant displays and product merchandising.
